Our Story

Grandpa Earl’s Foods was started in 2023 by the Martin family in Owen, Wisconsin. Our story began in the beating heart of our hometown, family-run grocery store: the back kitchen! Inspired by the deliciousness of locally made cheddar cheese curds, our founder, Earl, set out to create the best pretzel snack bite in Wisconsin. With our pretzels’ flavorful, cheddar-infused sourdough — not to mention our craveable seasoning blends — we think he succeeded!

We are proud to carefully craft each batch, including hand-twisting the pretzel dough before baking, which gives our pretzel snack bites their unique look and shape. At Grandpa Earl’s, we promise industry-leading quality of both product and service. We innovate constantly with a creative, entrepreneurial spirit.
